2024-12-18 Version 1.0.6136 (sensorProbe+ units)

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

These new firmware update files support both the F7 SP+ & the H7 SP+ processors or as we will refer to them as platforms. The new H7 processors or platform support more memory and faster CPU on the SP+ (SP2+ and SPX+) units.

There are two separate .bin files included in the firmware update package. One for the F7 units and one for the H7 units. The .bin file for the F7 units is named spplus_f7-1.0.*.bin and the .bin file for the H7 units is named spplus_h7-1.0.*.bin. If you try to upgrade your unit with the wrong .bin file, the firmware upgrade will fail, so please make sure you use the correct file for your unit type.

In the SP+ units web UI You will be able to view which platform the unit is using. This can be checked in the Settings >> General page >> System Description. And in the Settings >> About page >> System Description.

We will still provide support for the F7 platform that require fixes, however no new features will be added. All new feature additions and new future sensors & personality cards (modules on the SPX+) will only be supported on the H7 platform.

The backup configuration you have created on the F7 platform can be uploaded to the H7 platform units, but only with a matching hardware configuration (such as SP2+ to SP2+, but not SP2+ to SPX+). And also the units must be running the latest firwmare on our website.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

The firmware should be used with APS version 16.2.x or higher in order to use all recent features
